Simplify Studio is a professional organizing company that helps clients transform their homes and offices across the Charlotte metro area through thoughtful home organizing, decluttering, and styling. We're looking for a dependable, detail-loving Assistant Organizer to join our Charlotte team — with a genuine opportunity to grow into a Lead Organizer role for the right person.
If you love creating order out of clutter, take pride in doing things well, and want to grow with a company that invests in its team, we'd love to meet you. Experienced organizers who are ready to grow into a leadership role are especially encouraged to apply — tell us about your background in your note.
What You'll Do
- Partner with our Lead Organizers on client sessions (typically 4–7 hours)
- Sort, declutter, unpack, and organize client spaces
- Help create functional, calm, and beautiful homes and offices
- Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and teammates
- Support donation drop-offs, product runs, and project setup as needed
Who You Are
- Organized, dependable, and solution-focused
- Professional, warm, and discreet in clients' homes
- Calm under pressure and comfortable taking ownership of your work
- A strong communicator who follows through
- Looking for long-term work you can grow in — not a temporary side hustle
- Prior professional organizing experience is a plus, especially if you're interested in growing into a leadership role
The Schedule (Please Read Carefully) This is a part-time, project-based role with variable weekly hours that depend on client bookings and seasonal demand. Some weeks have multiple projects; other weeks may have none. Sessions fall Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays. It's a great fit if you want flexible, meaningful work and can handle an irregular schedule — it is not a full-time position with guaranteed hours or benefits.
Compensation & Growth
- Starting pay: $22/hour as an Assistant Organizer
- A clear path to Lead Organizer ($25–$30/hour) as you gain experience, take on more responsibility, and grow with our team
What You'll Need
- A reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license (for client sites, donation drop-offs, and supply runs)
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand 6–7 hours a day, bend, kneel, and navigate stairs
- Comfort with everyday technology (Google Drive, Docs, Gmail)
