Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Resident Advisor to work with individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. In this role, you will provide personalized support, and connect clients with resources. Your proactive approach will foster hope, resilience, and lasting change for those in need. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while working within a dynamic, supportive team environment.
This position is per diem position, with the potential to become a permanent part time position. You should have availability:
Overnight weekends Fri to Sunday 10pm to 8am.
Weekday evenings 5pm to 10pm
Duties
- 24 hour building Security and Monitoring
- Cleaning and Maintenance of the Building
- Client Interaction of a diverse population
- De-escalate tense situations involving clients, ensuring safety and positive outcomes.
- Offer referrals and support services
- Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with program requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Education
- Proven experience working with others
- Ability to work with clients with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Effective communication skills to engage clients empathetically while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs
Pay: $16.00 per hour
