NICET Level II Fire Alarm Technician
Location: Macon, GA
Pay: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional overtime as needed)
Summary:
The NICET Level II Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the Macon, GA area. This role requires strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards.

Install, test, inspect, and service fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and local AHJ requirements
Troubleshoot fire alarm panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances
Perform routine and annual inspections and complete inspection and deficiency reports
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, customers, and other trades
Maintain accurate service and inspection documentation
Follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements
What you need to succeed:
NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (required)
2–4+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience in commercial or industrial environments
Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and applicable fire codes
Experience with addressable fire alarm systems (Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Siemens, Edwards, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Must pass background check and drug screening
