We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all customers receive top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including tables and utensils.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.
- Process payments using the POS system, handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn more about the restaurant industry.
- Wine and Spirits knowledge.
