EVS Specialist - Part-Time Evening Shift
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Position Summary
ServiceMaster Elite Clean is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented EVS Specialist to join our Environmental Services team in Baton Rouge. This evening position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of general areas within a healthcare facility. The EVS Specialist plays an important role in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient waiting areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, and other assigned common areas.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.

Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.

Clean and restock restrooms with paper products, soap, and other supplies.

Maintain the cleanliness of entrances, elevators, stairwells, and other public spaces.

Follow all infection prevention, OSHA, and facility safety guidelines.

Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.

Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.

Complete assigned cleaning tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude while working in a healthcare environment.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous environmental services, janitorial, or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
