Kellogg Window & Door Center in Kill Devil Hills, NC is hiring a Service Technician to join the team!

Primary Responsibility:
Provide maintenance, repair and new installation of and for various doors, windows and related materials
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Install new products and test them to ensure they are working correctly
- Educate the client on how to use and maintain the equipment
- Provide maintenance, repairs and customer support
- Complete detailed reports and records for services performed and/or to be performed
- Set and demonstrate high standards for customer service
- Implement and manage timelines for orders
- Work closely with the other Kellogg Supply team members to provide the best possible customer service and understanding of company procedures and initiatives
- Actively engage in increasing knowledge of industry, products, customers and sales techniques
- All other job-related activities assigned by Supervisor
Experience/Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of various window and door manufacturers
- Understanding of door and window assembly and installation
- Understanding of door and window common warranty issues
- Understanding of Kellogg Supply Company policies and point of sale system
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize work and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Proficient with POS systems (building supply specific a plus)
- Compensation is based on experience
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field advantageous
- 2-5 years Building Products sales experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
