About the Role
We're looking for an organized, analytical Inventory Coordinator to join our Inventory Management team in Jericho, NY. In this role, you'll support inventory accuracy and product availability across our business by maintaining inventory records, monitoring reporting, coordinating purchase orders and transfers, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, solving problems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail makes a direct impact on the customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools to support daily operations.
- Monitor inventory availability and work with Inventory Specialists and Planners to resolve inventory issues quickly.
- Process approved purchase requisitions and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of merchandise.
- Create inventory transfers and maintain accurate inventory movement within company systems.
- Support month-end inventory activities, including reconciliations, physical inventory reporting, and obsolescence documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory receipt information and assist with ongoing inventory data integrity.
- Collaborate with merchandising, planning, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and product availability.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in inventory, supply chain, purchasing, merchandising, logistics, or a retail operations environment preferred.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access, Oracle, or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Compensation
- $25.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
