Position Overview
Join Our Team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician at The Eden!
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of The Eden and keep our property in top condition. In this essential role, you’ll work with multiple departments to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems and equipment . From HVAC and plumbing to lighting and fixtures.
This is an active, physical, and fast past role. Ideal for someone who’s adaptable, solution-oriented, and ready to jump in where needed. Whether you’re fixing a leak, responding to guest requests, or ensuring equipment runs smoothly, your work helps us deliver the high-quality, peaceful experience our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
- Respond to guest and staff work orders across hotel spaces
- Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front office teams to address issues quickly
- Maintain safety protocols and manage inventory of tools/supplies
- Jump in to help with painting, minor carpentry, and general upkeep
- Other duties as needed—no two days are the same here!
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hotel, apartment, or commercial building maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
- Experience with room heat pumps is a plus
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC systems
- Comfortable using tools and diagnosing technical issues
- Able to lift, bend, climb, and work in different environments
- Available for afternoon and evening shifts (1:30pm–10:00pm), including weekends
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
