Skaltek designs and produces quality driven process machinery, primarily for the wire and cable industry but also for plastic, aluminum, and steel tubing. Our customer service is based on the development of complete solutions and systems, serving at each step from production to the end-user.
We are searching for a practical and experienced service technician who is self-going. The position involves working with an international customer base and team to develop long-lasting partnerships and quality products. You will be able to be part of the entire project cycle, from the first customer contact, through completed start-up at the customer site and follow-up.

- Systematic Troubleshooting Skills.
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% in up to two week stretches.

- Basic familiarity with some brand of PLC.
- Basic Electrical Know-How.
- Basic Mechanical Know-How.
- Proficient with Office Suite
- Self-going. Volunteer Spirit. Able and willing to "See the Need" unsupervised.
Preferred qualifications (not required)
- Specific experience working with Studio 5000 and/or TIA Portal.
- Familiarity with tuning variable frequency drives.
- Experience with Eplan, AutoCad, SolidWorks, Draftsight, or other technical drafting software.
