We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete and operating a volumetric concrete truck/heavy equipment & loaders. This role is essential for transporting ready mix safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is paramount. Must have flexible schedule with some evening & weekend work as needed. Must be able to climb/lift 50 lbs overhead.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive different types of trucks, including but not limited to volumetric concrete mixer, transporting and operating heavy equipment & loaders.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Load and unload using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). CDL class B minimum.
- Familiarity with operating various truck types.
- Experience in handling ready mix efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
