Experienced Cath Lab RNs Wanted for a 13-Week Travel Assignment

We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and enjoys working alongside an experienced cardiovascular team performing advanced cardiac procedures.
Assignment Details
- Location: Auburn, New York
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 4x10-Hour or 5x8-Hour Shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
- Compensation: Up to $3600 per week
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Monitor Swan-Ganz and pulmonary artery catheters.
- Administer medications and provide emergency interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation and follow established clinical protocols.
Qualifications
Required
- Active New York RN License or proof of New York license application
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Experience with:
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
- Left and right heart catheterization
- Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary artery line monitoring
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a confident, detail-oriented Cath Lab RN with excellent critical thinking skills and strong procedural experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable responding to emergent cardiac cases, participating in on-call coverage, and working collaboratively in a high-performing cardiovascular team.

- On-call rotation required, including weekdays, weekends, and rotating holidays
- Floating may be required based on department needs
