Principal Area of Responsibility:
- Set up Class C AND Class B type parts within QAD standard

Responsible for the safe setup and Operation of equipment
- Keep work area clean and organized
Specific Duties:

Maintain daily mold/sizing record
-
Follow all established safety regulations and procedures
-
Follow all instructions listed on PCPs and setup info sheets
-
Adjust presses when needed
-
Ensure all press safeties are set properly
-
Setup Class C & Class B parts
-
Accurately fill out the Daily Production Log
-
Participates in Tool Breakage Investigation process
-
Perform other duties as assigned
-
Ensure that parts are holding size, wt. and density and that all dimensions are in the center of the molding spec before taking parts into the Quality inspector for initial setup check in
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Correctly perform the following activities
-
Must be able to read and interpret a PCP
-
Verification and use of Micrometers and indicators
-
Basic knowledge in crack detection and prevention
-
Communicate with Associates on other shifts
-
Must possess trouble shooting skills
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
-
Basic blueprint reading
-
2 years die setting experience
-
Ability to setup Class C and B type parts
-
Successfully setup 10 setups in each level in all standard tonnage ranges
