~~Primary Purpose
The Line Cook position is responsible for the production of the different menu items to the standards of The Hollywood Tavern. The primary objective is to live and demonstrate The Hollywood Taverns Culture and Mission Statement. It is the responsibility of the Line Cooks to ensure food quality, guest satisfaction and adherence to company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Line Cook has the primary responsibility for the following:
1. Demonstrating a customer-first attitude and living The Hollywood Taverns culture, mission and values.
2. Assisting customers in improving knowledge and appreciation of the true Tavern experience.
3. Demonstrates exemplary product skills and operational knowledge. Ability to perform skills during high volume periods. .
4. Coordinating and overseeing inventory counts for the BOH.
5. Providing feedback to appropriate departments regarding perceptions of policies, procedures and directives; morale of kitchen employees, and effectiveness of training and cultural focus.
6. Ensures a professional restaurant atmosphere and adheres to the Tavern image through rigid adherence to restaurant cleanliness, uniforms and grooming standards.
7. Upholds safety and security standards at all times. Promptly addresses any issues, involving the appropriate parties.
8. Strictly following all safety and health department procedures at all times.
9. Assisting with all housekeeping tasks, including dusting and periodic deep cleaning, emptying trash and cleaning bathrooms.
10. All other tasks as necessary or assigned.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Demonstrated success and skill level in all aspects of The Hollywood Tavern, including an understanding of preparation, production and service aspects of the business. Proven skills in the restaurant and/or customer service (retail) industry.
2. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
3. Good judgment in dealing with people and setting priorities.
4. High school diploma or GED.
5. Maintain current required alcohol and food handlers permits and demonstrate knowledge of alcohol and health code regulations.
OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Regular and punctual attendance.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to effectively and thoroughly communicate with all levels within the organization.
6. Available to work shifts at various hours and as need arises.
7. May require being on feet for long periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Strong commitment to operational restaurant hours scheduled or unscheduled as emergencies arise. Ability to perform all restaurant level functions. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Includes working outdoors in various temperatures. Also, work with sharp and hazardous equipment as well as work with phones, computers, fax machines and other office equipment.
