Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote a positive experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and accurately recording usage using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems while accurately processing payments and giving correct change.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest menu enhancements based on current trends and guest preferences.
- Collaborate with the culinary team during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes.
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally in diverse settings such as fine dining or casual venues.
- Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to manage bar operations efficiently including inventory control, beverage recipe development, and bar management responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients for drink preparation.
- Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, retail food industry settings, or catering events is highly desirable.
