We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Lead with strong leadership qualities to support the daily operations of our plumbing service warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in staying organized, working independently, and helping keep a team running efficiently.
This position plays a key role in ensuring our technicians have the materials and support they need to serve our customers successfully. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
This position involves fast-paced and physical warehouse work, including loading and unloading trucks, moving materials throughout the facility, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
Please Note: Starting pay is $19/hour, with higher pay available based on experience.
Warehouse Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the plumbing warehouse
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and inventory
- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure technicians have the materials needed for daily jobs
- Coordinate with technicians and office staff to prepare parts and equipment
- Assist with inventory counts, purchasing coordination, and restocking
- Identify opportunities to improve organization and efficiency within the warehouse
- Support daily operations and help maintain a smooth workflow for the team
Ideal Candidate
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Leadership mindset with the ability to take ownership of warehouse operations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Prior warehouse, plumbing supply, HVAC, or construction materials experience is a plus
- Previous management or leader role experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse during the workday
Location Requirement
Candidates must reside within the Inner East Bay, Inner South Bay, or Inner Peninsula and be within a reasonable commuting distance of our Newark, CA warehouse.
