The Yard Jockey drives box trucks from parking spaces to docks and docks to parking spaces.
You will work from 6 pm to 2:30 am, Sunday through Thursday; some overtime is required.
You will:
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 26' bobtails
- Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks
- Inspect vehicles before and after moving
- Report damage
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Assist in the warehouse
- Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors
- Collaborate with coworkers
You have:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Clear MVR
- A valid commercial driver’s license
- 1+ years of recent Class C delivery driver experience
- Route delivery experience (a plus)
- Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience (a plus)
- Lift gate experience (a plus)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
- Ability to work in any weather condition, as most work is completed outdoors
