Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Home Remodeler to bring transformative visions to life in residential spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive remodeling projects, from initial demolition to final finishes, ensuring each project meets quality standards and client expectations. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide remodeling projects with precision.
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing work using hand tools and power tools efficiently.
- Install flooring, tile, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other fixtures with attention to detail and quality.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure safety standards and building codes are strictly followed throughout each phase.
- Manage construction site activities including heavy equipment operation, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, and restoration tasks.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
- Apply construction estimating skills to prepare accurate cost assessments and material orders for each project.
- Execute plumbing and electrical work or coordinate with licensed professionals as needed for specialized tasks like wiring or fixture installation.
- Ensure proper caulking, plastering, stucco application, and painting are completed for a polished final look.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential remodeling or general construction with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Skilled in various trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete finishing), roofing, flooring installation (tile laying), welding, glass installation, and hardscape work.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Ability to perform detailed construction inspection tasks ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
