Job description:
Spicer Exceptional Therapies is a joyful, family-centered ABA practice helping children with autism and other developmental disabilities shine. We're looking for a BCBA to design and oversee individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans that promote positive behavior change, independence, and quality of life — all in a supportive, growth-oriented environment with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, behavioral assessments, and intake assessments to determine eligibility and set treatment goals
- Design, implement, and monitor ABA-based intervention plans for children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect and analyze data to track progress, document measurable outcomes, and adjust treatment plans
- Train and collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams on behavior management strategies
- Provide ongoing care through regular evaluations, progress reports, and plan adjustments
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation and medical records
Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification
- Deep knowledge of ABA, behavioral therapy techniques, and diagnostic evaluation methods
- Proven experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder
- Strong data collection, analysis, and clinical documentation skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA, and confidential records management
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication with families, educators, and care teams
