Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistants to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment in Primary Care, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Gastroenterology
*You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- rooming and/or intake processing.
- collecting and entering data, including manual vital signs, reason(s) for visit, allergies, current medications, and preferred pharmacy.
- assisting the provider as directed during exams and procedures.
- collecting specimens and performing injections.
- administering vaccines and medications, performing tests including EKGs.
- reviewing the patient record to determine whether patient requires any routine health screenings.
- preparing, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam rooms and medical supply inventory.
- cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
- assisting with patient referrals.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
