Position Overview
Walnut Ranch is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to support our clinical team. This position is responsible for maintaining instrument sterilization, assisting with operatory turnover, and ensuring treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care. The ideal candidate enjoys working behind the scenes to keep the practice running efficiently while supporting dental assistants and providers throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Prepare, organize, and stock treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
- Assist dental assistants with operatory turnover between patients.
- Maintain sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization logs.
- Ensure instruments, supplies, and materials are readily available for clinical procedures.
- Restock operatories and clinical storage areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Support the clinical team with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous dental or sterilization experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help the team.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent patient care.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break each day

At-Will Employment
Employment with Walnut Ranch is at will. This means that either the employee or the practice may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, subject to applicable law.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
