Compensation:
$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
As an Auto Glass Technician Trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians while learning the skills and procedures required for professional auto glass repair and replacement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Learn professional windshield repair, rock chip repair, and crack repair techniques
Assist with windshield replacement and auto glass installation
Learn ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) camera recalibration procedures
Inspect vehicle glass and learn to identify appropriate repair or replacement solutions
Educate customers about windshield repair versus replacement
Learn to recommend additional vehicle care services, including:
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Assist with appointment scheduling and daily shop operations
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, customer-focused, and eager to learn a skilled trade.
Previous experience in automotive repair, maintenance, or hands-on work is a plus, but not required
Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills and a commitment to creating a positive customer experience
Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to consistently follow safety procedures and quality standards
Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics or auto glass repair is beneficial, but not required
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
