A well-established, busy OB/GYN practice in Mobile is seeking a compassionate and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. We are looking for a professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care while working in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing both obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds and will enjoy building strong relationships with patients and providers.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.
- Obtain accurate measurements and documentation for physician review.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring comfort and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate medical records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide excellent patient care.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and exam rooms remain organized.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and all clinical protocols.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- RDMS certification
- Experience performing OB/GYN ultrasound examinations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
Preferred
- Experience in an outpatient OB/GYN practice
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
