The Forever Project’s headquarters are in Zion National Park. The Retail Freight Ambassador position will be based in the Zion National Park Visitor Center.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Freight Ambassador will be responsible for the following:
FREIGHT & INVENTORY SUPPORT – 60%:
Assist with receiving, unloading, and processing inbound freight shipments in a timely and accurate manner
Verify shipment contents against packing slips and report discrepancies to the Freight Supervisor
Sort, label, price-check, and organize merchandise in stockrooms and storage areas
Support stocking and replenishment of sales floor merchandise to maintain appropriate inventory levels
Maintain clean, safe, and organized back-of-house and storage areas
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as directed
Identify and communicate damaged or missing products
GENERAL RETAIL OPERATIONS – 20%:
Assist with merchandising efforts including restocking, display setup, and maintaining store presentation standards
Support seasonal transitions, promotions, and product launches through stocking and organization
Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
Perform other duties as assigned by the Freight Supervisor or Retail Managers
CUSTOMER SERVICE – 20%:
Greet visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner when on the sales floor
Assist guests in locating merchandise and provide basic product information
Support the retail team in delivering excellent customer service and a positive store experience
Help foster a connection between visitors and the park through retail and mission-driven engagement
KEYS TO SUCCESS (THE MUST-HAVES)
To be successful in this job, you will excel in these areas:
Hard skills:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
Previous retail, stocking, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Basic familiarity with retail environments or inventory processes.
Soft skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefit-eligible position located in southern Utah. The position may be subject to a furlough period during an ‘off season’. The schedule for this role will be consistently starting early mornings at approximately 5:00 AM. This position must be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Housing is NOT available.
