We are now accepting applications for the following position:
LANDSCAPER
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of all hotel grounds, landscaped
areas, and beachfront in line with Palm Heights brand standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of exterior grounds and surrounding building areas to
identify debris, damage, or maintenance needs, ensuring flower beds, green spaces,
and walkways are well kept at all times.
- Perform basic masonry and minor repair work related to landscaping features, pathways,
and outdoor structures as required.
- Carry out chemical testing and safe treatment of plants and lawns, including fertilization,
pest control, and soil care, following approved environmental and safety
guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance of indoor and outdoor water features, including fountains,
by managing filter changes, water quality, and general upkeep.
- Care for and maintain all interior and exterior plants, flowers, shrubs, and greenery,
including pruning, replanting, and replacement as needed.
- Identify and replace burnt out or damaged exterior lighting to ensure both safety
and visual appeal throughout the property.
- Assist with the movement and repositioning of furniture, landscaping elements, or
equipment across hotel venues in support of events or operational needs.
- Support associated grounds related maintenance functions and collaborate with the
broader engineering and operations teams as needed.
- Carry out additional duties related to grounds and property upkeep as assigned by
the leadership team.
- Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including working outside of normal
business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
- May be exposed to a noisy, humid and hot environment. Temperatures will vary
depending on weather
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling or otherwise move objects.
- Frequently lift 25Ibs, occasionally lift 50Ibs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk throughout work shift to accomplish tasks
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and basic grounds maintenance
practices.
- Ability to safely handle landscaping tools, chemicals, and equipment.
Salary: USD$8.00 - USD$10.00 Per Hour + gratuities
