Provide quality customer service by: answering incoming calls, making appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, responding to patient questions/concerns, contacting patients by phone.
Prepare and file patient charts
Enter patient demographics and charges in computer
Order glasses and bill insurance for examinations and glasses
Educate and assist patients in selecting their frame and lenses
Take frame-related measurements for the bridge, eye-size, and temple length, as well as custom measurements for progressive lenses
Dispense and adjust eye glasses
Repair eyeglasses
Maintain cleanliness in and around the optical department as well as the back-office lab
Sanitizing and disinfecting the work environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
