Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Class A Spotters to join our team for an immediate opening on the 1st shift. As a Class A Spotter, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently maneuvering vehicles and assisting in various tasks to ensure smooth transportation processes.
Duties:
- Operate and drive Class A vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, to spot trailers and assist in the movement of goods within the facility.
- Perform delivery driver duties as required, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks, utilizing equipment such as forklifts, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tanker trucks.
- Coordinate with team members to efficiently roll off containers and manage container movements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles and handling materials.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in truck driving, particularly with spotter duties, is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and handling various types of trucks like flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.
- Ability to efficiently load and unload materials using forklifts or other necessary equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Flexibility to work 1st shift hours and adapt to changing work demands.
