Loco Pez Mexican taqueria restaurant and bar on the corner of 20th and Bainbridge streets, is hiring Hosts to join our team. We are looking for energetic and personable people who love a fast-paced environment and share in our passion for simple, delicious and approachable Tex-Mex cuisine.
Our Hosts are the smiling face that begins the guest’s experience at our restaurant. They play an integral role in the service experience. Candidates must be able to not only bring a genuine joy to the greeting, but a calm professionalism to the waiting guests. Our service staff is a team of professionals, and every member is there to support each other. As an organization we value teaching, and promotion from within.
The position consists primarily of evening shifts. Applicants must have full weekend availability. Experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
Qualifications:
- A confident and vibrant personality.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
- A cooperative instinct.
- Must work well in fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
$13 - $15 / hour to start depending on experience.
