Are you a cleared or uncleared federal IT professional looking for your next engagement?
Tech Forge Group LLC (TFG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Texas, building a qualified bench of cleared and uncleared IT professionals for upcoming DoD, Department of Veterans Affairs, and federal agency task orders.
We are not posting one role. We are building a team.If your background is in federal IT — systems engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, EHRM, networking, or service desk — and you want to work with a firm that treats its people as partners rather than headcount, we want to hear from you.
WHO WE ARE
Tech Forge Group LLC was founded by Benjamin Bladh, a service-disabled veteran who served in the 729th Air Control Squadron (deployable communications) and the 854th Cyber Operations Squadron before spending nine years as a subcontractor supporting the Defense Health Agency's enterprise IT infrastructure — one of the largest federal health IT programs in the world. We built TFG because we know what mission-ready federal IT teams look like from the inside. We know what primes need, what agencies expect, and what it takes to deliver. And we built the firm we always wished existed — one where the people doing the work actually share in what the firm earns.
Our mission is simple: place the right people on the right contracts and take care of them along the way.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are actively building our bench across two tracks:
CLEARED TRACK (Secret / TS / TS/SCI)
- Senior Systems Engineers and Infrastructure Architects
- Cybersecurity Engineers — IACM, RMF, FISMA, CMMC
- Network Operations Engineers — enterprise DoD/federal environments
- Program Managers — federal IT task orders
- Cloud Engineers — AWS GovCloud, Azure Government
- Systems Administrators — Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM
UNCLEARED / PUBLIC TRUST TRACK
- M365 and Azure GovCloud Engineers — federal tenant administration, migration, Teams/SharePoint
- EHRM Technical Specialists — Cerner/VistA support in VA or DoD health IT environments
- Network and Infrastructure Engineers — federal agency support
- FISMA / RMF Compliance Analysts — ATO, POA&M, STIG, documentation
- IT Service Desk Engineers — Tier 2/3, ServiceNow, federal environment
- Systems Engineers — enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, storage
All experience levels considered — Junior through Principal. If you have federal IT experience or a clearance, we want to know you.
WHAT MAKES TFG DIFFERENT
We are not a large prime contractor where you are a number on a contract ceiling. We are a small firm that is growing fast, and the people we place are the reason we grow. Here is what we offer:
Competitive compensation at or above market rate for your clearance level and experience. We do not lowball cleared talent, and we do not squeeze uncleared talent to protect margin. We negotiate hard with primes on your behalf.
Day-1 benefits for W-2 placements — medical, dental, and vision through a national PEO network. 401(k) with immediate employer match. No waiting period.
Quarterly profit sharing — a real percentage of TFG's net profit distributed to the team each quarter. Not equity. Not stock options. Cash.
$2,000 annual professional development budget
We actively sponsor CompTIA, CISSP, PMP, Azure, AWS, ITIL, and CMMC certifications. If it makes you more valuable on federal contracts, we help you earn it.
Remote-first whenever the contract allows.
We negotiate remote arrangements in every prime subcontract conversation. We understand that not every cleared role can be fully remote — but we advocate for flexibility every time.
Veteran-first culture. Our CEO is a service-disabled veteran. Military experience is understood and valued here, not just listed as a checkbox on the HR form. We are flexible around VA appointments, reserve commitments, and family needs.
Transparency.
You will always know what contract you are on, who the prime is, what the terms are, and how TFG is doing. We do not believe in keeping our people in the dark about the work that depends on their effort.
THE ROLES COMING
We are actively pursuing task orders across:
- Defense Health Agency (DHA) enterprise IT infrastructure
- Department of Veterans Affairs OIT modernization (EHRM, M365, network)
- DoD cybersecurity and CMMC compliance engagements
- Federal civilian agency infrastructure and cloud migration support
If your background touches any of these areas, your timing is excellent.
