We are seeking a talented and energetic Nail Technician to join our dynamic beauty team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and intricate nail art, while creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. Duties
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Consult with clients to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on their preferences and skin tone, applying knowledge of color theory
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of workstations and sterilization of tools in compliance with health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport, listening attentively, and addressing client needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols
- Skilled in various nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, dip powders, and intricate nail art designs
- Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients on nail care routines and product benefits
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively using retail math skills to increase sales opportunities
- Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting complementary shades for their skin tone and style preferences
