Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to accurately assess collision damage using computer-aided estimating systems.
- Prepare detailed repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials needed for collision repairs.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, timelines, and costs to ensure transparency and confidence.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claim processing and approvals.
- Coordinate with technicians and body shop staff to prioritize repairs and monitor progress.
- Upsell additional services such as mechanical repairs or maintenance when appropriate to enhance customer value.
- Manage the Progressive DRP account with white-glove service, ensuring strict compliance with DRP requirements while delivering an exceptional customer experience from vehicle intake through final delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto service management, collision repair, or auto estimating with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems.
- Experience writing estimates in Mitchell
- Hands-on mechanic experience or dealership background is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension work, tire service, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repair.
- Proficiency in computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software and service writing tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally.
- Strong sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services or vehicle sales is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicles confidently.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with auto service management skills ensures accurate assessments and effective communication with both customers and team members.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
