Overview
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Operations Center Officer to join our dynamic security team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing security operations through advanced surveillance systems, access control, and incident response procedures. Duties
- Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Manage access control systems to authorize or deny entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with security policies.
- Conduct routine patrols of premises, including physical security checks, fence inspections, and yard audits to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by executing established procedures such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events for future reference and investigations.
- Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of the onboarding or screening process.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or in response to criminal activities while ensuring compliance with all security regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operation, alarm systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Certifications in first aid (CPR/AED) (provided)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for patrolling or heavy-duty security duties.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and liaise effectively with emergency responders and law enforcement agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations calmly while maintaining safety standards.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations related to security operations and safety protocols.
