Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist I is responsible for accurately picking, staging, replenishing, receiving, storing, and shipping products within the distribution center. The role requires safe operation of warehouse equipment, accurate inventory transactions, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, prepare, check, and palletize finished goods for shipment.
- Stage orders on the shipping dock and verify quantities and product details for accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and ensure proper charging and basic maintenance of powered equipment.
- Use handheld RF scanners for picking, replenishment, putaway, and inventory transactions.
- Verify product information and record serial numbers accurately to maintain inventory integrity.
- Replenish warehouse picking locations and put received products into designated storage locations.
- Load and unload trailers safely according to established procedures.
- Cross-check orders and shipments to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Pick, check, over-pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases as needed.
- Verify incoming shipments, identify appropriate storage locations, and complete product putaway.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform related warehouse transactions.
- Follow all company, warehouse, safety, GMP, FDA, and applicable regulatory procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in team initiatives such as Safety, 5S, and Lean.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding operational issues.
- Work overtime when necessary to meet daily and weekly shipping requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Current forklift certification required; stand-up forklift experience preferred.
- Electric/motorized pallet jack certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
- Oracle experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive warehouse and material-handling activities.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
