Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing various skills and techniques to prevent incidents and respond effectively when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify security risks or breaches.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting and investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies to protect company assets.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
