This position offers a $1,200 sign‑on bonus, with $600 awarded upon completion of 6 months of employment and an additional $600 after 12 months.

Classroom Management/Environment:

Can effectively manage classroom behaviors by addressing negative behaviors and reinforcing positive behaviors

Educational/Certification:

Child Development Associate (CDA) and/or associate degree in a child-related field required.

Associate’s degree required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

A minimum of 6 months relevant experience serving the infant and early childhood population.

Spanish speaking preferred.

Ability to interact with clients and staff with sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics in the service population.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Other Requirements: Must have a driving record which is within the guidelines of the insurance underwriter. Must not have been charged with or convicted of a criminal offense that would disable employment by failing to meet minimum standards as set by the Licensing Branch of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
