American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of specialty experience and RDCS certification for a hospital-based cardiac imaging role.

Work across adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings, including ICU and Emergency Department
-
Perform fetal echocardiography and maternal fetal medicine studies
-
Patient ratio of 1:7
-
Utilizes Epic charting system and GE equipment with PACS
-
Day shift schedule of 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
-
Floating required within 5 hospitals (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL) and 6 outpatient sites based on staffing needs
-
Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
-
No call requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
-
BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
-
RDCS certification required
-
ARDMS or CCI credential accepted
-
Neonatal/pediatric experience required
-
Teaching hospital experience required
-
Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
-
Epic charting system experience required
-
Skills required include Adult Echo, 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, Routine studies, and TEE
-
Pharmacologic Stress Echo and Treadmill Stress Echo skills preferred

Proficiency in calculations including Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, and Simpson's Rule preferred
-
Ability to obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG and perform procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings
-
Knowledge of Isolation Precautions/PPE required
-
Must be able to complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
-
Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
-
License required if applicable
-
Perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies across adult and pediatric populations, including fetal cardiac imaging for congenital conditions such as Tetralogy of Fallot, Hypoplastic Left/Right Heart Syndrome, Ebstein's anomaly, and Ventricular Septal Defect

Conduct studies for conditions including Aortic Stenosis, Atrioventricular Septal Defect, Complete Heart Block, Congestive Heart Failure, and Transposition of the Great Arteries

Management or lead experience preferred

RTO must be submitted at time of application and no additional requests will be accepted after submission
-
No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment

Block scheduling not permitted

First-time travelers accepted

Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to a reduced local rate
