Key Responsibilities:

Lead maintenance and calibration programs to ensure equipment reliability, compliance, and operational performance.

Coordinate planned maintenance activities and provide technical support to maintenance technicians.

Manage engineering change controls, technical documentation, and asset lifecycle activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and productivity.

Investigate equipment issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions.

Support internal and external audits while maintaining inspection-ready engineering systems.

Lead or contribute to capital projects, including equipment installation, commissioning, and handover.

Develop maintenance strategies, spare parts plans, and key performance indicators for critical assets.

Support qualification and requalification activities, ensuring validated and compliant operations.

Collaborate across functions to enhance technical services, utilities, infrastructure, and site performance.
Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.

5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering, technical services, maintenance, manufacturing operations, or a related technical environment.

Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, calibration, and asset reliability principles.

Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Demonstrated ability to manage engineering changes, technical documentation, and compliance requirements.

Proven project management skills with experience supporting equipment or facility improvement initiatives.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary:
The salary for this position is expected to range between $98,700 and $183,300 annually
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
