Join the Testing Center as a Program Assistant I – Proctor and play an important role in supporting a fair, secure, and positive testing experience. In this position you will deliver excellent customer service, uphold testing integrity and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. This position is located in Brookings, South Dakota.

Job Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to support the mission of the Testing Center by assisting individuals in reaching their academic and professional goals by providing a secure, friendly, and comfortable environment where exams are administered, proctored, and scored with integrity. The SDSTATE-TC adheres to the National College Testing Association Professional Standards and Guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Test administration and proctoring
- SDBOR policy and guidelines in regard to testing and prior learning credit
- Educational work experience with individuals requiring special accommodations
Skill & Ability to:
- Ability to obtain certification from Pearson, Meazure, Praxis, CLEP, ACCUPLACER, ATI, Prov, PSI, ACT, and other exam sponsors
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and flexibility
- Computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work as a team
