Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing residential swimming pools to ensure optimal safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Your expertise will help create a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pool maintenance, water treatment, and equipment repair within a fast-paced, energetic setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain water clarity and cleanliness
- Conduct water testing and adjust chemical levels using appropriate chemical agents to ensure safe and balanced water quality
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely while adhering to all safety protocols and handling guidelines
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment repairs, installations, or maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, repairs performed, and equipment status for each client site
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of pool systems
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot pool equipment efficiently
- Experience with pool plumbing systems and water treatment chemical handling is highly preferred but we will train the right person
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during chemical handling and equipment repair
- Service technician experience in the pool or related industry is a plus
- Must have clean driving record
- Uniforms provided. Must be presentable at all times as we work directly with our clients
- Motivated, self-started, and able to work unsupervised

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
