Job Summary:
This job is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the gas station, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining safety standards, managing staff, and optimizing station performance. The role involves managing fuel inventory, handling financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily operations at the gas station, including fueling, convenience store, and other associated services
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, including pumps, tanks, and store facilities, by coordinating regular inspections and repairs
- Monitor fuel inventory and coordinate timely deliveries to avoid stockouts
- Hire, train, and manage station staff
- Schedule shifts, monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensure optimal staffing levels
- Ensure that all staff provide friendly, efficient customer service and adhere to company policies
- Ensure that the station provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers
- Ensure that all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety drills with staff
- Keep updated with local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel handling, environmental concerns, and safety standards
- Manage the station budget, including cash handling, payroll, inventory control, and ordering of fuel and products
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and any discrepancies
- Monitor and control fuel pricing, ensuring it is competitive while maintaining profit margins.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, including promotions, loyalty programs, and community engagement
- Ensure the station is well-stocked with popular and profitable products
- Prepare and submit regular reports on station performance, fuel inventory, safety inspections, and other relevant metrics
- Ensure that all financial and operational documents are accurate and up-to-date.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing and managing the gas station staff. Ensuring that the division personnel carry out their respective duties in accordance with all Rancheria policy and procedures and all other applicable Tribal, Federal, and State law. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, unless otherwise waived by Tribal Council as based on determined experience and accomplishments
Three (3) to five (5) years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in retail or gas station operations

Other Requirements
- California Class C Driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Rancheria’s insurer
