Job Title: Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with mental health disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a clinical setting.
Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health conditions
- Provide clinical counseling and behavioral therapy to individuals and groups
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations
- Work with patients across various demographics including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Offer outpatient services and support to individuals in need of mental health assistance
Skills:
- Proficient or willing to ask in diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies
- Some Experience in providing clinical counseling and behavioral therapy
- Familiarity with pediatric, geriatric, adult, families, couples, and individuals' mental health care practices
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and coding procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards a client-centered approach
