Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Class A Driver to join our growing transportation operation. The successful candidate will operate a day cab tractor primarily on local and regional routes throughout Florida. This position is ideal for an experienced driver who values professionalism, reliability, and safe driving practices.
The driver will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle (Day Cab)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Transport freight throughout Florida in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the company
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must be insurable under company insurance requirements
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to pass required drug screening and background checks (if applicable)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Florida residents preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with local and regional freight operations
- Experience with power-only, dry van, or general freight transportation
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

- NO SAP drivers

- NO serious preventable accidents
