Back WaiterPosition Summary
We're seeking polished, energetic, and hospitality-driven Back Waiters to join our service team. As a Back Waiter, you'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by supporting servers, maintaining impeccable table presentation, and ensuring every detail of service is executed seamlessly.

Responsibilities
- Assist servers throughout each service by anticipating guest and table needs before being asked.
- Deliver food quickly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards and proper plate placement.
- Clear, reset, and maintain tables throughout service to ensure a polished dining room at all times.
- Refill and maintain water service, bread service, and table accompaniments.
- Polish glassware, flatware, and service pieces to restaurant standards.
- Maintain clean, organized service stations and dining areas before, during, and after each shift.
- Communicate continuously with servers, food runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with opening and closing side work, including stocking stations and preparing the dining room for service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Support teammates wherever needed to create a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Back Waiter, Busser, Food Runner, or Server Assistant in a high-volume or upscale restaurant preferred.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to multitask during busy service periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to hospitality.
- Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both front and back of house.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift and carry trays, racks, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
