Responsibilities

- Utilize standardized testing and assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among students.
- Mentor and guide students in their social and emotional development.
- Incorporate learning technology into the classroom to enhance educational experiences.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and education administration to support student success.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Implement Montessori principles where applicable to promote independent learning.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- A valid teaching or substitute teacher license.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and childhood development theories is highly desirable.
- Experience in mentoring young learners and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs is a plus.
- Proficiency in using learning technology tools to enhance classroom instruction.
