High school diploma or equivalent.

Current CPR and/or BLS Certification (Required upon hire for new HCAs; an employer-supported pathway is provided for internal staff transitions).

Strong, empathetic communication skills, with the ability to speak calmly and kindly to diverse and vulnerable patient populations.

Demonstrated flexibility, excellent multitasking abilities, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Prior experience in a medical-related field is strongly preferred.
Operating under the delegation and supervision of the Clinic Manager and licensed providers, your duties include:

Clinical Care: Room patients, measure and record vital signs, perform point-of-care lab tests (pregnancy tests, hemoglobin), and assist providers during evaluations and procedures.

Patient Recovery: Monitor and support patients in post-abortion recovery under direct clinical supervision.

Clinic & Lab Operations: Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, sterilize instruments (autoclave), restock medical supplies, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment inside and out.

Administrative Support: Answer phones, confirm appointments using computer software, update Electronic Medical Records (EMR), assist with intake/discharge, and facilitate patient referrals.

Team Collaboration: Complete daily accountability forms, assist with light office tasks, and help train designated coworkers on taking vitals once fully settled.
