Job Title: Part-Time Service Associate

Location: Roanoke, IN

Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per week

Hours: M – F 10:00a-2:00p; occasional Saturday rotation 8:00a-12:00p
Position Summary
The Part-Time Service Associate serves as a frontline representative of the branch, providing excellent customer service while processing routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role supports day-to-day branch operations by assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account-related questions while following established policies, procedures, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally and provide a welcoming branch experience.

Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing transactions accurately.

Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records throughout the workday.

Verify customer identity and follow all security procedures and internal controls.

Answer routine account and service questions or direct customers to the appropriate team member.

Promote awareness of bank products and services by identifying customer needs and making appropriate referrals.

Assist with branch opening, closing, and daily operational tasks as assigned.

Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.

Support compliance with all policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Cash handling, balancing, or retail transaction experience preferred.

Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures consistently.

Flexible availability within branch operating hours, including occasional Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications

Previous teller, banking, cashier, or customer-facing experience.

Familiarity with branch operations, transaction processing, or financial services.

Ability to build rapport with customers and identify service opportunities.
