Paralegal
Position Summary
Snyder & Snyder, P.A. is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys and clients in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and related matters. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage complex files, prepare legal documents, coordinate client communications, and assist attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in estate planning and trust administration and be capable of handling matters with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and client service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience required.
- Substantial experience in Estate Planning and Trust Administration is required.
- Florida law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced WordPerfect skills and experience drafting and formatting legal documents in WordPerfect are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning documents, trust funding, deeds, assignments, and asset transfer strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters, prioritize competing deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Draft estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related documents.
- Prepare deeds, assignments, trust funding documents, and other asset transfer documentation.
- Assist with trust administration matters, including beneficiary communications, asset collection, and distributions.
- Maintain and manage case files from intake through completion.
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, accountants, title companies, and other third parties.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely progression of matters.
- Maintain accurate billing entries and file records.
- Assist with training and supporting other members of the legal team as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
