About the role
We're hiring a 2nd shift Production Operator to run finishing equipment, including our perfect binder and DCM (die-cutting) machines. Second shift runs leaner than days, so this is a role for someone who can work independently, solve problems on the fly, and keep production moving without a supervisor over their shoulder. If you like ownership and a steady, focused environment, this shift is a good fit.
What you'll do
Operate, set up, and change over finishing equipment (perfect binder, die-cutting) throughout the shift. Troubleshoot jams, misfeeds, and quality issues independently and keep the line running. Inspect output and catch defects before they move forward. Hit nightly production targets while holding quality. Keep your area clean, organized, and stocked for the next shift.
What we're looking for
Bindery or print finishing experience is strongly preferred. We'll also consider adjacent hands-on experience (manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, or similar) for someone who's clearly self-sufficient and mechanically inclined. A problem-solver who works well without close supervision. Comfortable standing for full shifts and doing repetitive, physical work. Works quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Reliable and punctual. Local to the Point Richmond / Richmond / East Bay area.
Schedule
This is a 2nd shift role: 3:00pm to 11:30pm, full-time, on-site.
Details
Pay: $25–$28/hour, depending on experience. This is a physical role that involves standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.

Greenerprinter, a rapidly-expanding online printing company, has an opening for an experienced Bindery Operator (Folding, Saddle Stitching) Operator, whose responsibility will include operating on daily orders and meeting product deadlines.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- 2+ years prior bindery experience expected.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
- Must be familiar with all warehouse equipment and machinery
- Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of computerized bindery equipment (cutting, folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding and folding and gluing)
- Must possess a good eye for detail
- Accountability and initiative is expected, as well as a "can-do" approach
- Excellent attendance required

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
