We currently have Day and Night shift positions available.
Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to residents in a residential care facility
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living space for residents
- ability to work independently to ensure residents are bathed and toileted per their care plan.
Walking rounds must be completed at shift change to ensure resident care has been completed and residents are present and accounted for.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and other staff members
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to resident care in a residential setting
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to provide comprehensive care
- Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferred but not required
