We are seeking general laborers with prior construction experience to work on our general and federal contract sites. Apply now if you have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License!
This position will require hands-on, in-field experience. This individual will be working on crews installing lighting and electrical systems, assisting with horizontal boring operations, transporting large equipment, operating a Hydro-Vac, and performing other miscellaneous tasks associated with underground electrical and street lighting.
Requirements:
·Willingness to follow instructions and take directions
· Heavy equipment operation
· Pre-trip and equipment safety inspections
· Yard and work site clean up
· Concrete work and finishing experience
· Hands-on skilled laborer; potholing; trenching; excavation
· Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
· General knowledge of construction operations
· Highway and roadway construction site experience
· Construction site safety and hazard awareness experience
· Load and unload materials and equipment
· Assist with traffic control as needed on job sites
· Report any safety hazards or issues to supervisors
· Hand and power tool expertise
· Willingness to travel to project sites located in all areas of the valley and out of state projects as needed
