Online ESL Teacher (Remote) | Teaching Korean Students
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Online ESL Teachers to teach English to Korean students of various ages and levels. This is a remote teaching position where you can work from home while helping students improve their English skills through engaging and interactive online lessons.
Teachers will conduct classes through Zoom and use company-provided teaching materials and resources to deliver effective lessons while supporting students in developing their English communication skills in a positive virtual classroom environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach online English classes through Zoom to Korean students of various ages and English levels
- Use company-provided teaching materials and resources during lessons
- Conduct short, focused lessons (7, 15, and 25 minutes) depending on class type
- Help students improve speaking, listening, and reading skills
- Encourage student participation and create a positive learning environment
- Provide constructive feedback and complete daily lesson notes
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches based on student needs
- Maintain a professional, punctual, and supportive online classroom environment
Requirements
The following requirements are mandatory. No exceptions will be made.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Must be a citizen of the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom
- Reliable wired internet connection (Ethernet connection required; Wi-Fi is not accepted)
- Quality headset with a working microphone (no earbuds)
- Quiet and professional home teaching environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt instruction for different learner levels
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- TESOL, TEFL, or other ESL teaching certification
- Experience teaching beginner-level English learners
- Experience teaching children or young learners
Schedule
Teachers must be available for a consistent weekly schedule.
Evening Shift (KST):
- 18:00 – 24:00 KST
- (05:00 – 11:00 EST)
Morning Shift (KST):
- 07:00 – 11:00 KST
- (18:00 – 22:00 EST)
Schedule Requirements
- Minimum commitment of 4 consecutive teaching hours per shift
- Must be available 5 days per week
- Fixed work schedule required. Schedule changes and exceptions cannot be accommodated.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
